Alkali Metals….share physical and chemical properties, also they are soft, shiny and highly reactive in room temperature. They have a low density point, and a low melting point. It´s a good conductor of heat and electricity. In nature their found only combined with other elements. These metals only have one electron in their outer shell.Which means, they are ready to lose that one electron in ionic bonding with other elements. Also, Alkali metals can explode if they're exposed to water.

ReplyDeleteLithium is the one of the lightest metals. Lithium is also a dense alkali metal. Lithium's atomic number is 3.Also, Lithium is just one of the chemical elements on the periodic table!
