My favorite mixture is Mike and Ikes. These delicious candies are a mixture that include cherry, lemon, strawberry, lime, and orange flavored candies. They are considered a mixture because they are not chemically combined. In fact, each candy is it’s own individual substance with its own physical properties such as color and flavor. Surprisingly, each little candy is a compound! One piece includes corn syrup, pear juice, and food starch all chemically combined, making a compound! All the delicious tiny candies together make a very tasty mixture! What is your favorite mixture?
